Hope you all had wonderful Thanksgivings. Ours was adventurous to say the least.
The Dad had been noticing some health issues the past couple of weeks, fatigue, faintness, head rushes, and some pains in the chest.
When he went in to Urgent Care, he was told he was having a panic attack. That didn't satisfy him, so he pushed for more medical care. After a stress test that he didn't pass, they sent him off for an EKG, and then a stress EKG.
He was then referred to a cardiologist. When we met with this most wonderful man, he scheduled The Dad for an angiogram the next morning. He didn't know why he felt the need to rush, he just said there was something that was throwing a red flag in his face and he wanted to get The Dad done before the Holidays.
So, the Wednesday before Turkey Day, we headed to the hospital at way to dang early in the a.m. The Dad ended up getting a full service angiogram, angioplasty, and two drug-eluting stents placed in his ticker.
His left anterior artery was 100% blocked and his main artery was 80% blocked.
Other than the pain from the artery in his groin area, and a bruising feeling in his heart, his recovery was perfect.
He came home Thanksgiving morning and TheGoodFriendsFamily ensured we had a most delicious TUrkey dinner.
TGFF also ensured that I did not once have to worry about The Kids through this whole process. Man, we love them.
The Dad is feeling better than ever and is awaiting being cleared by his doctor so he can return to his dog walking responsibilities.
I also need him to be cleared so that he can put up the Christmas decorations.
We enjoyed a delicious Turkey dinner Saturday, with The Aunt, The Uncle, and The Littlest Nephew, who is growing by leaps and bounds.
Pictures soon to follow.
I attempted getting pictures of All Three Kids together. I think I might have more outtakes than not.
Still wondering how you amazing photographers wrangle all those kids.
Praise God for that Dr. and your dads amazing healing!! THat gives me goose bumps its so powerful!
Many blessings-
Amanda

So glad that The Dad is recovering so nicely! We love you guys! But, ahem, there is something I've been meaning to ask you...I think we've earned an upgrade in our TGFF "G" to "Great" or "Godsent" or "Gafreakin' Awesome" or something after watching your "rotten" kids! Haha! Love you ALL!!!!!
