TGFF invited us to join them at Legoland this past weekend. Truthfully, they only invited The Boy, but as usual, I felt no guilt at inviting the rest of us along as well.
We started off way too early on Sunday morning, thus necessitating a trip to Starbucks.
Yes, they both wore skirts to an amusement park. Pshaw! You've got a problem with that?
It was a beautiful day to enjoy San Diego. I think the high was 67 degrees? Which may explain why Both of The Girls were a tad pissy at TGFFDad when he continuously squirted them with water.
Luckily, The Girls cheered up quickly we moved on with our day.
TGFF had coupons to get us in, but to use them we had to do the old WifeSwap. TGFFBoy really enjoyed playing around with calling me 'mom' all day. Until, I got my revenge.
"Who's my sweety-weety-pudgy-wudgy-cutie-pie?" "Where's my momma's boy? There he is, awww, he's so cute! I wuv you baby."
I promise that is not why he pouted though! It was not my fault.
It could however have been because of this.
The Boy received his driver's license and like all good DMV photographers, The Dad snapped a beaut of a picture for his license.
This totally made my day. I could have just stared at them all day.
We ran into a couple of rockstars during our visit.
They refused to sign autographs however. Divas...
Legoland added on an aquarium since last time we'd visited.
They had some of the ugliest fish I have ever seen though.
It was a nice, quick aquarium though, which was nice considering the parks were only open for 6 hrs.
We ended finished up the park just as closing time neared. We did manage to see one more thing.
Guess what?
Bison Butt!
What a neat place with super photo ops. I can't believe all of those animals are made with Legos! Master Munchkin would have been in Lego heaven.
Heh, heh, you said "butt". :)
